How are Pup-RRR-Mint Sticks different and thus safer?
	Pup-RRR-Mint sticks are extruded not molded. Extrusion is the process that manufacturers use to create dog kibble and human foods like cereal and pasta (kind of like that play dough machine you used to have as a kid). Pup-RRR-Mint's two layer technology separates into smaller pieces when bitten or chewed making it easier to digest. The two wheat products (starch & gluten) digest at different rates and break down faster in the digestive system making them a "safer" breath and dental treat. We've created a firmer outer surface by using extruded wheat starch instead of molding wheat gluten. Wheat starch surrounds dog’s teeth causing friction that helps remove plaque and tartar. We use real dill, parsley and spearmint to naturally freshen breath instead of chlorophyll. Parsley and dill offer digestive benefits beyond just breath-freshening, they nourish the beneficial enzymes that break down food in the intestines. Thus making Pup-RRR-Mints a nutritional treat beyond just their dental and breath benefits.
